The town - Ca di Mezzo

Brisighella is an ancient medieval village from the 13th century, perched on the slopes of three selenite rock spurs that dominate the Lamone Valley.

Over time, the fortress, the clock tower and the sanctuary of the Madonna del Monticino were built on these peaks and have become the symbols of the city.

For its historical, landscape and food and wine peculiarities, Brisighella is counted among the most beautiful medieval villages in Italy.

The historic center is a succession of narrow streets, small squares, stairways and terraces from which you can admire breathtaking landscapes.

Don't miss the Via del Borgo, better known as "Via degli Asini", an elevated road that winds through historic buildings.

The surrounding landscape is characterized by suggestive hills crossed by gullies and by the Vena del Gesso Romagnola which extends from Brisighella to Imola.

The Carnè park with the area's visitor center is located in Brisighella.
In 2023 the Vena del Gesso Romagnola was included by UNESCO between the places of the serial site "Karst and caves in the evaporites of the northern Apennines".

Brisighella stands out for its strong vocation for hospitality and sustainable tourism, Orange Flag of the Italian Touring Club, and also boasts important certifications such as "Slow City" and "City of Oil and Wine".
